THE FAITHFUL WITNESSES
Peter and John where called upon to be witnesses for
the Lord through the healing of a man who hadn't walked from birth, and the
preaching of the Word of God (See Acts 3).
You and I today are also called upon to be faithful witnesses as well
(Psalm 107:2, Mark
1. BE READY FOR OPPOSITION Vss. 1-7 (John
2. BE RELIANT DURING OPPORTUNITIES Vss. 8-12
As Peter relied
on the Holy Spirit for power, we should also.
3. BE RESPONSIBLE WHILE FACING OBJECTIONS. Vss. 13-22
Peter and John
did not succumb to pressure. They stood
their ground
for Christ.

MR. ENCOURAGEMENT
There are some people
who are gifted at encouraging others.
Barnabas, so named by
the Apostles, had a name which means "the son of
consolation". We can learn much from
him.
BARNABAS ENCOURAGED WHEN
HE WAS BLESSED - Acts 4:32-37
He was blessed with
salvation and a sense of being one heart and soul with other believers. This
led him to share.
BARNABAS ENCOURAGED WHEN
PAUL WAS MISUNDERSTOOD - Acts 9:26-29
BARNABAS ENCOURAGED WHEN
OTHERS WERE SAVED - Acts 11:22-26
BARNABAS ENCOURAGED WHEN
MARK FAILED - Acts
(Paul was probably right
in the dispute, but Barnabas' encouragement of Mark evidently helped him be
useful to Paul later.)
