THE TRUTH
In the life of every
church there will be times when the truth of God's Word will be challenged in
some way. It is our responsibility to
know and live the truth. In this little epistle,
truth was an issue in a local congregation.
There were those who lived in truth and those who did not.
Through this epistle we
are encouraged to:

PERCEIVE THE TRUTH -
Vss. 9-12
Christians must be able
to perceive who is living and teaching truth and who is living and teaching
falsehood. If falsehood can not be
perceived a church can be destroyed. If
truth can not be perceived the church will not grow! We must be able to distinguish between good
men and false teachers.
