Hebrews 9:27-28
THERE IS! – FOUR THINGS ON WHICH TO COUNT
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look
for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
1. THERE IS DEATH - And as it is appointed unto men once to die…
2. THERE IS JUDGMENT - …but after this the judgment:
· The majority of people will appear before “the Great White Throne” – Revelation 20:11-15
· The born again Christian will appear before “the Judgment Seat of Christ”. – 2 Corinthians 5:10
3. THERE IS FORGIVENESS - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; - Christ paid the price for our sins on the cross. There is forgiveness for those who trust Him for forgiveness and eternal life! Isaiah 53:3-6, Romans 6:6-8, Romans 5:1, John 3:16
4. THERE IS HOPE – …and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. – The born again Christian anticipates “the Rapture”. – 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18, 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
