FORSAKEN
During a great trial, there is probably nothing sadder
than being forsaken, or left alone by friends and loved ones. Jesus was forsaken by his closest friends as
He began to face the cross.
JESUS FORSAKEN EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY - Vss.
33-42 - Instead of watching in prayer with Jesus, Peter, James, and John fell
asleep.
JESUS FORSAKEN PHYSICALLY - Vss. 43-50 - The disciples
all forsook Him and fled.
JESUS FORSAKEN VERBALLY - Vss. 66-72 - Peter denied
his Lord three times.
Do we, as Christians, ever forsake Jesus emotionally,
spiritually, physically, or verbally?
