PSALM 11
4 Outlines
Psalm 11
HE'S HERE!
Usually we have about 100 present in our church on
Sunday morning.
I usually take mental note of who's
present and who is not.
There are times, however, when I think someone is absent, when in reality he or she has been present for the
whole service. I just didn't see him!
Although we can not physically see the Lord, let us
remember that He is present at all times (Psalm 139:7-10). We are reminded of three things in our text.
OUR HOPE Vss. 1, 7
God is the one in whom we can put our trust.
OUR HARASSMENT Vss. 2-3
Ungodly people will harass us. (1 Peter 4:12-19)
OUR HELP Vss. 4-6
God is present to help us through all our problems.

Psalm 11:7
Living Righteously
For the righteous Lord loveth
righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
As you seek to live righteously for the Lord, I would
suggest that you ask God to help you develop the following disciplines:
·
ATTEND - Be faithful in your participation in the
services of the local church. This will not only help you learn God's Word, but
give you the opportunity to encourage and be encouraged by your brothers and
sisters in Christ. Hebrews 10:24-25
·
ABSORB - Be diligent to learn from God's Word, not
only from the preaching and teaching that you hear, but also by reading the
Word of God for yourself on a daily basis. 2 Timothy
2:15
·
APPLY - As you hear the Word preached and read it for
yourself, apply it to your own life and obey it. James 1:22
·
ACQUIRE - Hide God's Word in your heart, so that you
might live righteously. Psalm 119:11
·
ASK - Make prayer for yourself and others a vital part
of your life. Ephesians 6:18, Mark
11:22-24
