Psalm 37:16-37
THE BENEFITS OF
RIGHTEOUSNESS
Those who have trusted Jesus
Christ as Savior have been justified. To
be justified means to be "declared righteous." Our righteousness is not based on our
goodness, but on the work of Christ in our behalf. Romans 5:1, 2 Corinthians
5:21
After being saved, we,
as Christians, are to live righteous, Godly lives. 1 Peter 1:15-16, Romans
12:1-2, Luke 9:23. We are to act like
the children of God! Sometimes
Christians may wonder what the benefits are for living a righteous life. This
passage gives us three benefits.
THE INCOME OF THE
RIGHTEOUS - Vss. 16, 21, 25-26
THE INVOLVEMENT OF THE
RIGHTEOUS - Vss. 23, 30-31
THE INHERITANCE OF THE
RIGHTEOUS - Vss. 18, 28-29, 34, 37
