MODEL OF OBEDIENCE
The Rechabites in this
chapter show us some very good lessons about obedience which we should apply to
our own lives.
OBEDIENCE IS TESTED Vss. 1-5
Just as the Rechabites had
their obedience tested, we too will have our obedience to God tested.
OBEDIENCE SHOULD BE TENACIOUS Vss. 6-11
Will we be as obedient to God as these people were to
the commandment of an ancestor? They
were firm in their stand of obedience.
OBEDIENCE WILL BE A TESTIMONY Vss. 12-17
Their obedience was a testimony to
OBEDIENCE WILL BE TRIUMPHANT Vss. 18-19
God will reward the Rechabites. God will award the obedient Christian at the
Judgment Seat Of Christ. 1 Corinthians 4:1-5, 2
