CHRISTIAN CHARACTER CLINIC
WEEK #4 – INTIMATELY HIS! - KNOWLEDGE
2 Peter 1:5 - And
beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue
knowledge;
·
Why should we know our husband, wife, or other best
friend well?
·
How should we go about accomplishing this?
Knowledge should come forth out of virtue (moral excellence). This knowledge of God should be an intimate
knowledge.

believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have

Philippians 3:8-10 - Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge
of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and
do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, [9] And be found in him, not
having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through
the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: [10] That I
may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of
his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Ephesians 1:17 - That
the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the

down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge
of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you
through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

shall make you free.

I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of
goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you,
and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in

still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I
will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 39:4 - Lord,
make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I
may know how frail I am.
2 Timothy 1:12 - For
the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for
I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep
that which I have committed unto him against that day.
