STILL GRACE
To introduce this message I freely gave away $5 and
explained that it was “grace”. She did
nothing to earn the money, nor would she be required to.
I then told the story of John Newton, the author of
the hymn “Amazing Grace”.
I explained that there was still grace available for
all of us and then commented on this outline and these verses.

THE SOURCE OF GRACE
John 1:14 - And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:17 - For
the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
SALVATION BY GRACE
Romans 3:24 - Being
justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift
of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
KEPT BY GRACE
Acts 20:32 - And
now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is
able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are
sanctified.
VICTORY BY GRACE
Romans 5:17 - For
if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one,
Jesus Christ.)
Romans 6:14 - For
sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under
grace.
2 Corinthians 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength
is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Timothy 2:1 - Thou
therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
THE THRONE OF GRACE
Hebrews 4:15-16 - For
we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
[16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
MINISTRY BY GRACE
Acts 20:24 - But
none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that
I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of
the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
1 Corinthians 15:10 - But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was
bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all:
yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Peter 4:10-11 - As
every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as
good stewards of the manifold grace of God. [11] If any man speak, let him
speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the
ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus
Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
THE MULTIPLICATION OF GRACE
2 Peter 1:2 - Grace
and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our
Lord,
2 Peter 3:18 - But
grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To
him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
